Vance Koenig is available for bookings as a guitar soloist or in a duo with violin, flute, soprano sax, voice or another guitar. Larger ensembles can be arranged upon request. Booking engagements include weddings on the beach or in a church, romantic dinners, parties, cocktail receptions and art shows. Vance and his associates are known for their musicality, professionalism and reliability.
ROMANTIC DINNERS ON THE BEACH - This is one of Vance's favorite settings. By enlisting the service of a private chef during sunset on the beach, along with the classical guitar serenading in the background, you will have one of the most romantic dinners of your life.
WEDDINGS - When played in the classical style, the warm harmonies of the guitar help to create a beautiful, romantic mood for wedding ceremonies. Whether in a church or on the beach, the harp-like voice of the classical guitar is a perfect choice for your wedding music.
To enhance the projection of sound, a portable, battery-powered amp is available for remote locations. During the ceremony itself, while never overpowering in volume, the pure acoustic sound can be played quietly in the background to enhance the mood. Take a look at Vance's Song Lists for selecting pieces from a wide variety of music.

PERFORMANCE & BOOKING POLICIES
Contracts - In order to perform at your event, other engagements may have to be turned down. Although a verbal or email agreement is acceptable, a client going direct with Vance, should secure a booking with a deposit of 50%. The remaining balance is due on the job site.
Client Cancellations - In the event of a cancellation, clients must give at least 24 hours notice to avoid full fee payment. Booking deposits are usually non-refundable depending on circumstances.
Rain - In the case of rain during an outdoor event, full payment is expected. Musicians cannot perform in the rain without serious damage to their instruments. Cover protection or alternate locations are the responsibility of the client and event coordinator.
Amplification - In most performance settings, an amplifier will be used to enhance the projection of sound according to the situation. Several size amplifiers are available including a small battery powered unit which can be used in remote locations where no A.C. power is available. This equipment is included with the performance fee at no extra charge. However, for large groups of 100 people or more, a more powerful P.A. system may be required. In this case an extra $50.00 charge will apply.
